Below are some of the projects I have created. Some are school projects and some I created on my own for fun and for the learning experience.
This educational app was built using React to explore and demonstrate classic and modern encryption techniques, including Caesar Cipher, AES, and RSA. I created it just before starting my Cryptography course at Bellevue University, as both a way to deepen my understanding of encryption and to gain more hands-on experience with React development.
This is the first web app I created using React and Spring Boot. My focus was to learn these two frameworks. This web app allows users to browse recipes and reviews. Creating an account allows users to add their own reviews, add recipes to their favorites list, and add their own personal notes for each recipe. There are different roles I can assign to users to allow certain users that I trust (family and friends) the ability to add their own recipes and see the notes that other contributors have added to each recipe. This is a website I created for the Developer Capstone semester project at Central Community College. It is a website where one can read and write reviews for movies and TV shows. This was made using PHP Plates and AltoRouter. A large focus of this project was back-end development using PHP. I have removed the images for the movies to avoid copyright violation. This is the Hotel Room Calculator. This webpage calculates the cost of a room for a guest's stay. Being employed at a motel inspired me to make this. I created this webpage immediately following my first web development class. I created this as a practice project to begin learning JavaScript. Click the image to visit the webpage.
This is the Cairo Housing Authority website. I created this as a project for my web development class at Central Community College. This class got me started in web development. I had no web development experience or knowledge prior to taking this class. Click the image to visit the website.
This is a simple plate calculator I made quick for a friend. This is used for weight lifting. Enter the desired weight, bar weight, and available weight sizes and it will calculate how much of each weight size to put on each side of the bar.
This is a Tic Tac Toe game that I made for programming practice and for fun. It allows users to enter their name, play single player or two player, and choose to play as either X or O. For a more enjoyable experience, it is possible to win in single player. Click the image to visit the website.
Yes, I reused the name...
This is an Android app I made as a semester project for the Mobile Programming course at Central Community College. I had no prior experience in mobile development. This app was made using Android Studio and Kotlin. This app is a cookbook app. Users can enter recipes, search their recipes, and sort their recipes. Essentially, it is a simple CRUD app for recipes.
